In 2025 both Grace and Kendall were let go from our corporate jobs due to getting sick too often (it was during the 90 day probationary period, so the employer did what was best for them.) We decided to open our first business called Adventuring Lakeland, which was rebranded in early 2026 to Adventuring with Grace and Kendall (AGK.) With AGK we take people on guided hikes throughout Central Florida, create informative nature videos, and provide our own brand of Green Therapy. We realized that being out in the fresh air was helping us to feel better and not catch colds as often. While researching some of the plants around us, we discovered that we could make tinctures to improve our quality of life. We have always used teas to help with health benefits, but the power of tinctures is very much underrated. More beneficial nutrients are extracted from the plant when making tinctures instead of teas, and less nutrients are destroyed by heat, because we do not use heat to make our tinctures.
We started with oregano and heartleaf nettle tinctures. What I noticed with the oregano is that I have not been sick at all since I started taking it daily. The nettle acts as a pain reliever and I have not had to take any OTC pain meds since starting this tincture. It lasts about 4 hours (like most pain meds) but the more you take it, the more it helps, so I do not have to take as much now as I used to when I first started.
We began making more tinctures and other natural products and marveled at how well they worked. It has helped us with our chronic conditions, and we would love to help you feel better, and live better too.
